PASTOR CHARLIE

Pastor Charlie serves as the Prayer Pastor for Austin PowerHouse Church, playing a crucial role in supporting our pastors and enriching the spiritual journey of our congregation. His dedication to prayer fosters a deeper connection to faith, guiding individuals and families in their spiritual growth. With a compassionate heart and a commitment to service, Pastor Charlie helps create a nurturing environment for all APH members.

After his service in the Marine Corps, Charlie was influenced by a pivotal moment of prayer, while alone in his room. It was here he would first feel the power of holy spirit come over him. "I went from praying to speaking in tongues without thought or hesitation. It felt like every insecurity left me as i began to feel an overwhelming peace in my mind and throughout my body. Like my soul connected to my thoughts and my body was one with my heart, I was being consumed with the Holy Spirit in a way that made me whole again". It was that moment that encouraged Pastor Charlie to read his Bible more, becoming more in love with the word of God, and with spending time in the presence of God.

Today APH has a dedicated prayer team lead by Pastor Charlie, that help to equip and keep our church members praying faithfully and effectively on an ongoing basis. He cherishes the opportunity to pray with others, developing deep connections through fellowship. By getting to know their hearts, he can offer more meaningful prayers.

Pastor Charlie is a devoted servant of God and has been under the covering of Bishop Paul Ojeda for over 6 years. He listens intently to the Holy Spirit's guidance, always seeking to uplift and empower those around him. With unwavering boldness, he stands firm against the enemy, relying on the power of prayer.

Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV)“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
