PASTOR DENISE 

Pastor Denise is the Pastor over Caleb Ranch Retreat Center and a board member of Austin PowerHouse Church. As the operations coordinator of the church she oversees the daily functions of the church, coordinates events, oversees ministry teams, facilitates new member connections, and oversees church financials. She also offers mentorship through her ladies connect groups offered online and in person. Pastor Denise and her husband Pastor PJ also offer theological insights in their Kaleo Bible study.

she truly has a heart of compassion and empathy. Is always willing to show support, give counsel and guidance to individuals during times of need.

Pastor Denise is the oldest daughter of Bishop Paul Ojeda. She grew up always having a relationship with Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She began to know Jesus more intimately one rainy night alone in her car when she fully surrendered her heart to Jesus.  

 

In 2012 she welcomed her firstborn child, marking a significant turning point in her life. It was during this transformative period that she became deeply involved with Austin PowerHouse Church. Her dedication and leadership led to her being the first female pastor ordained by Bishop Ojeda. Becoming a pastor allowed her a sense of peace "Knowing I am walking out God's calling over my life and no longer running from it."  Embracing this path has allowed her to connect deeply in her faith and community, guiding others along the way.

She met her husband Pastor PJ at church while performing with his band. Their connection grew leading to a loving marriage that continues to be a blessing to others. Today they have four beautiful children and work in ministry together.
